Where is the apartment exactly located?
Our apartment is in the G-block in Phase II of the Puente Romano Beach Resort. Phase I encompasses the Puente Romano and Nobu hotels and includes a few privately owned smaller apartments. In contrast, Phase II and Phase III (Marina) feature larger apartments, some of which are available for rent.
What is the difference in size compared with a hotel room?
The rooms in our apartment are twice the size of those in the hotel, and our terrace offers three times the space.
Can we use an elevator to get into the apartment?
No, access to the apartment from the street involves ascending seven easy steps and descending six easy steps via a wide staircase.
Can you provide a baby cot?
Yes. Our own baby cot, highchair and seat booster are available upon request before arrival.
Is there traffic noise in the apartment?
Close to none. We have noise-protected doors and windows in the apartment.
Do you provide bedlinen and towels?
Yes, we have hotel-quality bedlinen from Bassols in Egyptian cotton with satin. The towels are from Zara Home, and for each guest there is a bath towel, shower towel and washcloth. Both bathrooms have a bathmat.
Are beach towels included?
Yes. Beach towels are provided for all guests.
What pillows does the apartment have?
Both bedrooms have two standard pillows. To make your night more comfortable, there are four additional pillows of different hardness, of which two are memory foam.
Is the terrace sunny?
Yes. The terrace faces south and enjoys sunshine throughout much of the day while also offering covered shade during the warmest hours. We have both awnings and fans to make it comfortable in summer.
Is the kitchen fully equipped?
Absolutely. You’ll find everything needed to prepare meals just as you would at home.
Are there any products available when I arrive?
Both bathrooms are equipped with hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tissues and toilet paper. The kitchen has first-need basics such as hand soap, kitchen roll, water, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil. Detergent is normally available unless the previous guests have emptied the bottles.
Where can I do shopping?
Just across the street there is a supermarket and bakery for your daily needs and they open 7 days per week.
Is there public transport nearby?
Convenient transportation options are available at our doorstep, including a taxi stand accepting cash and credit cards and a bus stop accepting cash only, both situated just beyond the gate.
Is parking included?
Yes. Private parking is available directly beside the apartment building behind the gate.
Booking, Travel & Check-in
Is booking direct safe?
Absolutely! We have hosted more than 300 families in our apartment over the past 10 years, and we take every booking seriously.
Some guests prefer to book through Airbnb (where we are a Superhost) and VRBO/Expedia. Feel free to read their reviews and verify our track record.
When you book direct, you deal with us personally from your first question until the end of your stay. And you have the best service and a guaranteed best price.
How does check-in work?
We have a local keyholder that you will meet upon arrival. He is there to assist with your luggage.
Does this mean I have no more contact with you (the owner)?
Our keyholder can help you with most of the local questions, but of course we will always be involved. You can contact us before, during and after your stay. We will contact you the day after check-in to ask if everything is according to your expectations and, if not, what we can do to help.
How do I get more information about the check-in process, the apartment and Marbella before I arrive?
We will share a digital guestbook a week before you arrive. We also share our local favourite places with direct booking options in this guestbook.
What if I arrive before the check-in time or want to leave after the check-out time?
Where possible, we offer flexibility. If this is not possible, we have a 24/7 manned reception desk where you can store your luggage.
Can I make use of a bathroom or shower when I arrive early or leave later?
We have a bathroom in our reception area and the showers by the pool can be used.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
No problem, just contact our local keyholder when you arrive at the airport.
